Sequeira Partners was engaged by the shareholders of Ecofish to identify a best-fit partner to support the Company’s future growth, while at the same time maintaining and enhancing the culture that had made Ecofish successful. The acquisition by Trinity provided Ecofish’s leadership team and shareholders with the resources to expand their current offerings and continue to provide exceptional scientific research.
The Sequeira team provided advisory assistance throughout the transaction including marketing the business, negotiating preliminary and final deal terms, advising on transaction structure and consideration, as well as assisting with due diligence and closing matters.
Ecofish Research
Founded in 2001, Ecofish delivers services in environmental assessment, permitting, mitigation, compliance and effects monitoring, water resources engineering, and wildlife and terrestrial studies, among others. The firm works with energy, power, mining, and infrastructure companies, as well as with First Nations and public sector clients.
Ecofish operates at the core intersection of development and conservation, solving complex problems for government, First Nations, industry and communities. It has approximately 160 employees located in 10 offices across Canada.
