Marisa joined Sequeira Partners in the summer of 2024. She has over 15 years’ experience in executive support, office management, event planning, and administrative functions. As a dedicated EA she provides the firm with executive-level support, facilitates smooth operations, and manages the business office functions. With her highly organized and detail-oriented approach, Marisa ensures the team can focus on deliverables and stay coordinated within the diverse, fast-paced M&A world.
Prior to joining Sequeira Partners, Marisa accumulated her experience working in a broad range of industries including automotive, oil & gas, and non-profit organizations. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Alberta and utilizes her creative mind to drive initiatives. Marisa has built her reputation on keeping an inclusive, positive, streamlined, and organized office.
Outside of the office Marisa volunteers with the CMHA of Alberta, answering crisis calls on the 24-hour Distress Line. In her down time, Marisa enjoys adventures with her family and taking on acting roles in various community theatres. She loves to read, watch scary movies, explore local cuisine, and Instagram her fabulous fashion selections. Her favorite color is pink, and Barbie is still a significant figure in her day-to-day life.
