Sequeira Partners was engaged as sell-side advisor to Big Eagle on the carve-out of its piling division, Copp’s Pile Driving. Sequeira provided advice on valuation, pricing, and due diligence, and assisted in the negotiations to get the sale completed.
Given its familiarity with the company through prior transactions, Sequeira was the natural choice to assist Big Eagle in the sale of its non-core division. Sequeira presented the opportunity to a group of high-net-worth entrepreneurs who recognized the potential for growth within the Alberta Oil Sands and various infrastructure projects. They believed that given management’s expertise and the quality asset purchased in the sale, the opportunity for growth was something they could not miss out on.
