Description of Transaction
Sequeira Partners was engaged to assist with the sale of Universal Supply Co. Inc. to address ownership succession and to assist with identifying the best-fit partner for the company’s long-term success. Sequeira provided advisory assistance to Universal through a structured sale process including valuation, approaching potential purchasers, the negotiation of transaction terms, due diligence support and final deal completion.
With the closing of this transaction, Universal achieved its primary objective of finding a strategic partner to preserve the Universal Supply brand, culture and legacy, while facilitating accelerated future growth and opportunities for all of Universal’s employees.
Universal Supply
Founded in 1955, Universal Supply specializes in wholesale distribution of bathroom fixtures, plumbing and heating supplies to the commercial and residential building sectors in British Columbia.
