[EDMONTON, Alberta] June 8, 2022 – Exciting changes at Sequeira Partners!
We are pleased to announce Julie Afanasiff will be taking on the Managing Partner role at Sequeira Partners effective August 1, 2022. Julie’s appointment follows the completion of Ken Tarry’s four-year term in the role.
Julie is based in our Edmonton office and has earned her reputation as a sought-after transaction advisor over her more than 15 years in corporate finance. Her expanded leadership role supports Sequeira Partners’ continued growth as one of Western Canada’s largest and most active independent transaction and valuation advisors.
In addition to her leadership role, Julie will continue to serve clients, both private and public, by advising on mergers & acquisitions, divestitures and restructuring transactions.
Julie has a passion for diversity and gender equity and strong community involvement with organizations including Habitat for Humanity and other charitable organizations. She spends her free time with her two rescue dogs and traveling to new parts of the world.
We want to extend a big thank you to Ken Tarry for his dedication and exemplary leadership during his term as Managing Partner. Ken will return to his role as a Senior Partner in Sequeira’s Vancouver office, focusing on transactions involving middle market businesses across the Lower Mainland and British Columbia.
Thank you for continuing to support and grow with us.
