Sequeira Partners was engaged by Barclay Insurance to assist with identifying the right partner to provide a platform for the future growth and evolution of the business.
The Sequeira team provided advisory assistance throughout the transaction including initial valuation analysis, marketing the business to potential partners, negotiating preliminary and final deal terms, transaction structure and consideration, as well as assisting with due diligence and other pre-closing matters.
The sale to Sterling Capital will allow Barclay Insurance to access additional tech-enabled resources and provide greater process efficiencies to clients. The combined company is the largest independent employee-owned benefit consulting firm in Canada.
