Description of Transaction
Sequeira Partners was engaged by Prairie Steel Products to assist with identifying the best-fit partner to support the Company’s future growth. The Sequeira team provided advisory assistance throughout the transaction including marketing the business to potential partners, negotiating preliminary and final deal terms, advising on transaction structure and consideration, as well as assisting with due diligence and other closing matters.
The sale to WGI will bring tremendous synergies to Prairie Steel by leveraging the resources of one of Canada’s largest manufacturers of steel products. The transaction will further enhance the Company’s ability to provide timely and exceptional service to customers in Saskatchewan and throughout the Prairie region. The senior team at Prairie Steel will continue to lead the Company post-acquisition and will work closely with WGI leadership to expand their product offerings and geographic reach.
